Welcome to November! We hope you had a thrilling Halloween, filled with fun and maybe even a few spooky surprises! As the year winds down, DarkDragon Entertainment is ramping up with exciting developments for Elemental Clash. This month, we’re thrilled to bring you even closer to the action with highlights from our Armour Con experience, a new card art reveal, results from last month’s survey, and details on our next convention. Plus, check out the projects we’re supporting in the tabletop community. Your support means the world to us, and we can’t wait to dive into these exciting updates together!
Armour Con Highlights
We’re proud to unveil the first official design of the Elemental Clash logo! This logo represents the elemental forces at the heart of the game, and we hope it captures the essence of what you’ll experience when playing. Take a look and let us know what you think!
Armour Con was an absolute blast! The energy was incredible, with everyone excited to dive into the world of board games. One of the standout features was the impressive array of tables with 3D maps and intricately designed layouts, showcasing everything from detailed maps to immersive, 3D buildings. We even found ourselves hooked on a few new games, proving that the creativity in the gaming community never stops!
Our table attracted some amazing people who came by to try Elemental Clash, and their enthusiasm was inspiring. It was fantastic to see players enjoying the game, and their feedback was invaluable—we’re already working on version 4 of the rules based on their suggestions. A huge thank you to Robby from Lava Games, creator of the fantastic game Enclave, for stopping by and sharing in the excitement. Another big shoutout to Brian at Armour Con for being so welcoming and giving us the opportunity to have our own table. Thanks to everyone who made this experience unforgettable, and we can’t wait to return next year!
Join Us at Protospiel Online!
Our next convention experience will be a little different, and we’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be participating in Protospiel Online from January 17th to January 19th! This virtual playtesting event is hosted on Discord, where designers and players can connect, mingle, and dive into game prototypes in real-time. Protospiel Online offers multiple voice and video channels, creating a friendly, open space for playtests without the need for pre-scheduled events—just hop in and join a game!

New Art Reveal: Elemental Clash Card Frames
We’re excited to introduce the first prototypes of our new card frames for the front of Elemental Clash! Each element—Earth, Air, Fire, and Water—now has its own distinct look, with custom designs and textures that bring out the unique qualities of each element. From the earthy vines and stone patterns of Earth to the swirling waves of Water, these frames are designed to add visual depth and make each card feel truly alive.
These frames not only enhance the aesthetic but also improve readability, allowing players to quickly identify each element’s effects and power.
